My name is Richard, and I’m a Dad. It’s not my only identity, but it’s an important one to me. Here are a few things I’ve noticed about being a Dad.

• It’s fun! My kids can make me smile with the funny things they do.
• It sucks! My kids can make me frustrated with the inane things they do.
• I love it! Watching my kids try new things and reach new heights of accomplishment makes me prouder each day.
• I hate it! Give me 5 minutes, kid.. You’re sick again?!.. I don’t want to talk to your teacher for the 5th time this month…UGH!

For sure, being a Dad has its roller-coaster moments. It’s good and bad, terrible and fantastic all at once. Once thing is for certain, however.
